What it does
It is a safety switch. It lets the furnace light only when the vent is clear and the inducer is running.
Check the hose first
A cracked hose or a blocked vent or drain can make a good switch look bad. Look for those first.
Never bypass it
Jumping a pressure switch can let carbon monoxide into the house. If the switch keeps tripping, call a pro. Read the guide.
