Limit and rollout switches shut the furnace off when it gets too hot. Match the cut-out temperature, the reset type and the size.
Send us your unit's model number and a photo of the plate. A real person will find the part for you.
It is a safety switch. It opens when it senses too much heat and shuts the burners off.
A tripped limit often points to a dirty filter, a weak blower or blocked vents. A rollout trip can mean a vent or heat exchanger problem.
Do not jump a limit or rollout switch. If one trips more than once, call a licensed tech. Read the guide.
